Additional Keyboard Shortcuts
Here is a summary of some additional keyboard shortcuts that can make typing Greek that little bit easier. Among the most useful (especially for teachers drafting examination papers or notes) are the shortcuts that allow the user to switch instantly from Greek to English and back to Greek again.

| ALT + , | Moves the cursor one character to the left |
| ALT + . | Moves the cursor one character to the right |
| CTRL + , | Deletes one character to the left (= Backspace) |
| CTRL + . | Deletes one character to the right (= Delete) |
| CTRL + q | Deletes one whole word to the left |
| ALT + SHIFT + q | Toggles between typing Greek and English letters |
| CTRL + SHIFT + q | Any English text already selected is changed into the Greek font |
| CTRL + ALT + q | The previous word is changed into the Greek font (without selecting) |
| CTRL + w | Selects the previous word or words by keeping the CTRL key down and tapping w repeatedly |
| CTRL + SPACEBAR | Resets the font to the default for that paragraph style |
| CTRL + n | Current paragraph acquires Normal English style |
| CTRL + 1 | Current paragraph acquires Greek10 style |
| CTRL + 2 | Current paragraph acquires Greek12 style |
