Demo version of Latin without Tears 32-bit

You can download a demo version of Latin without Tears 32-bit by clicking the links below. This demo version preserves almost all the functions of the full program so that you can give it a thorough test drive. The most important restrictions on the demo version are these:

1.
Of the 106 Latin passages in the full program, only 6 are available in the demo version. However, you can call on all the regular functions of the program for translation and printing.
2.
Of the 7 full-colour maps in the full program, only one is available in the demo version. The other six were omitted simply to reduce download times. All of the maps can be viewed from the Maps link on this web site. On the installation disk of the full program, high resolution versions of the maps are also available for printing.
3.
The Options/Enable and Disable functions are themselves disabled for obvious reasons.

The installation file is named: latin32demo_setup.exe . Its size is small - only 914 Kb - so it should download very quickly even over a dial-up Internet connection. Save the downloaded file to a folder of your choice (e.g., C:\TEMP). Once you have downloaded the file, simply find it in Windows Explorer and double-click it with your left mouse button. Follow the instructions on screen.

N.B. Some systems may protest at downloading a program file like latin32demo_setup.exe . If you encounter this problem, click on the link below. This will download the very same file but disguised under another name. I have renamed the installation file as latin32demo_setup.txt and compressed it in a zip file called latin32demo_setup.zip When you have downloaded this to your system, you will need to unzip it to reveal the file called latin32demo_setup.txt then use Windows Explorer to restore its original name latin32demo_setup.exe . Once it has recovered its original name, proceed as explained above. If this explanation does not make sense to you, call in a more computer-savvy friend to help you.
